Week 30: Cinco De Mayo Miracle

Hey everyone this was a great week! One cool miracle happened on Cinco de Mayo. Elder Call and I were going to some other missionaries apartment to grab my Cantonese study books because I left them there from last week. Elder call and I were feeling festive and had been driving for a long time, so we wanted some Mexican food. Some sisters in the Zone told us about a Taco truck that was good. So we started looking for it for like 20 mins but couldn’t find it. We finally decided we were just going to get something to eat when we got back.

Then the sisters called us and told us where it was, and luckily we were right next to it. We then got in line and a lady came up to us and asked us where we were from and how long we have been out. So she knew who we were. Come to find out her ex husband served a mission and was a member. We talked to her a little and asked if she would be willing to meet with the sisters in the area and she said yes! It was amazing! And she didn't even get food, as soon as we were done talking to her she left. There were so many things that happened for us to  meet up with this lady which was evidence of Gods hand in it.

The rest of the week consisted of long drives, lots of phone calls and painting a house for a member. Happy Mothers day to all the Mothers out there and especially my own!!! Hope you all had a good mothers day.
