Week 32: Far West Temple Site

你哋好! This week was pretty cool. Started off the week with some service with members. We built two fences, and helped plant some trees. It was nice to be able to be out of the apartment.

Thursday, we had Zone Conference. This was a special one. It was outside at the Far West Temple Site. Those of you who don't know about the temple there it is pretty amazing, it has the cornerstones laid. It was the place that Joseph Smith recieved revelation on what name the church would be called, and there will be a temple there one day. So it is a sacred place.

I had to conduct Zone Conference, so I was a little nervous. But I felt that I did ok. But President Love made sure to give me a loving roast at the end in front of everyone about me being nervous. Hahah it was a great Zone Conference.

2 Corinthians 12:10 "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong" Everyone has many trials and hardships it is part of the mortal experience. As we strive to be positive even as we are experiencing lots of pain, we are then able to gain the knowledge and experience our Father in heaven wants us to gain. Because only through trial and opposition are we able to come closer to the savior and as Paul says it "then am I strong."
