Week 43 & 44

Hey everyone! Hope all are doing well. The last two weeks have been awesome! Reed and JD were baptized last weekend! They were both awesome and very powerful spiritual experiences. Proud of both of them, big steps for both of them! I know their Heavenly Father is proud.

One funny thing from Reed's baptism was after we got changed back into our clothes, someone asked Reed how he now felt. He said "It feels like the Spirit of God hit me right in the face" I was dying laughing I love Reed. JD's parents flew all the way out from Montana to be there for it. His mom thanked us for being a friend to JD and bringing him the gospel. She was super nice. Both her and her husband are Members of a break off restoration branch of the church. They both loved the baptismal service so that was cool.

Elder Scott and I have been playing lots of street basketball at some outdoor courts near the college. Now that school is starting the college is packed with kids and the courts are full with people playing every night. It is my favorite thing in the world. Hahah Elder Scott always makes fun of me saying I look like a kid at a candy store when we get there. We have met some new people playing and have got their numbers so hopefully some things will turn out from it.

I have been studying about Ammon lately,  what an amazing man he was. King Limhi offered him his daughter as a wife, and he said he would rather be his servant. What an amazing example of humility. I am striving to be a more humble servant of the Lord everyday. So grateful to be a missionary!
