MTC Week 2

Hey everyone! Crazy another week has gone by. Life here at the MTC is kind of the same every week hahah. So nothing super huge happened this week. My district and I are getting super close together, especially the jeunglouh. (elders) It is like I have 4 companions hahaha, we do everything together. So my companions are Elder Ford and Elder Tobeck just like I said in my previous email. We also have Elder Koo from South Korea who is one of the coolest people I have ever met. We also have Elder Quilter from Wales who has a sweet British accent. We are so close and love to laugh together. I'm pretty sure my district honestly thinks I'm like a clown because I just randomly start cackling loud either from looking at Elder Quilter or from thinking of some of my buddies from home. Hahah it's ok tho because it's my medicine and keeps me sane.

One thing this week that really was cool to me.. So Elder Koo speaks English but not very good, so the elders in our district help him out with translating things. And I had the privilege of translating his testimony that he wanted to share to our class and another one for sacrament meeting.  It was so touching to me that it brought me to tears to hear his humble testimony and hear him try his best to share the desires of his heart. I felt the spirit so strong. I have learned to treasure the gift of the holy ghost since I have been here, and am trying to seek it at all times. What a blessing it was to me and a testimony builder to have the opportunity to hear that.

I love this gospel. I love my Savior, this is his work. Joseph Smith restored the same gospel that was on earth when Christ was here. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. Heavenly Father knows us personally, and still reveals his truth through prophets today. My testimony is Alma 34:18. I love you all. I'm so thankful for all the love and support I'm receiving from all of you. My challenge to everyone for the week is to seek to feel and have the spirit to be with you. Hope everyone has a great week. Happy Halloween!

Love,
Mohk Jéunglóuh
