Update

Hey everyone hopefully you all are doing good! I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th and Happy Birthday to my Sis Lucy. Everything has been going good! We just had zone conferences this last week they all went good! It's always good to be with the missionaries!

I got a new companion, his name is Elder McCann. He's from Orem so we are neighbors he plays tennis he's a stud. Plus he's got a pretty cool relative. We have been having fun and having been going hard!

We have been working with this girl named Karla. She is a member of the RLDS church which has been nice for teaching but hard because she has been getting some backlash. But she was supposed to get baptized this week. But she has been busy at an internship for the summer. We were needed to get some details figured out for the baptism and the only time she was going to be able to was at midnight one of the nights this week. So we got permission to talk with her at midnight. But she ended up not answering which was too bad. And the baptism didn't happen which was sad. But we have hope for the future.

Something funny that happened a little bit ago. My old companion and I were hitting some golf balls at this course one morning for Pday. Our mission President was kind enough to let us use his clubs. Which turned out to be a mistake. I was swinging his driver and hitting some balls. And on one of my hits the club head flew off. It was the craziest thing ever because it hit the ball clean and none of us hit anything that would cause it to do that. I was so scared, because golf is my mission Presidents favorite thing to do and he has some nice nice clubs. So I had to go tell him about the nightmare but he was very kind and merciful. Turns out it wasn't too bad of a fix.

But all is well! I am grateful to be a missionary and to be in this great place! Love this work and I love this gospel.
